Terms of Service

Last updated: April 12, 2026 · Effective date: April 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website survivetheaishift.com (the "Site"), operated by Survive the AI Shift ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site provides educational content, research summaries, newsletter subscriptions, digital products, and tools related to artificial intelligence and its economic and social impacts. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without written permission
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

2. Not Financial, Legal, or Professional Advice

The content on this Site is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, career advice, or any other form of professional advice.

The Site presents research, statistics, and opinions from third parties — including researchers, economists, technologists, and public figures. These views are attributed to their sources and are presented as the views of those individuals, not as the views or recommendations of Survive the AI Shift. We make no representation that any particular view, prediction, or recommendation will prove accurate.

Before making any financial, career, business, or investment decision, you should consult a qualified professional. Past performance of any investment or strategy discussed on this Site does not guarantee future results.

3. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information on this Site, including verifying quotes, statistics, and research citations. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. AI is a rapidly evolving field and information that was accurate at the time of publication may become outdated. We encourage you to verify important information through the original sources linked throughout the Site.

If you believe any information on the Site is inaccurate, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

4. Intellectual Property

All original content on this Site — including articles, summaries, the My AI Shift Plan quiz and plans, newsletter content, and design — is owned by Survive the AI Shift and protected by copyright law. Third-party quotes, research excerpts, and statistics are the property of their respective owners and are used under fair use principles for commentary and educational purposes, with full attribution.

You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts (up to 150 words) with attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not reproduce full articles or substantial portions of our content without written permission.

5. Digital Products

We sell digital products (guides, workbooks, and courses) through Gumroad. All sales are final. Because digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned," we do not offer refunds except in cases where the product is materially different from its description. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will review your request.

Digital products are licensed for your personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or share our digital products with others.

6. Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are disclosed on the pages where they appear. Our editorial independence is not compromised by affiliate relationships — we only link to products and resources we believe are genuinely useful to our audience.

If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such. As of the effective date of these Terms, we do not publish sponsored content.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including YouTube videos, news articles, research papers, and academic publications. These links are provided for your convenience and reference. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Linking to a third-party website does not constitute endorsement of that website or its content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SURVIVE THE AI SHIFT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES, CAREER DECISIONS, OR INVESTMENT OUTCOMES MADE IN RELIANCE ON INFORMATION FROM THIS SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
